[REJECTED] Force embeded media to fit a certain overall size.

Hey Ange,
Could you please add this code to your FM Design CSS for me? It will fit your forums and create a bit of uniformity. It 'll make my life a whole lot easier instead of writing Flash codes all the time when sharing my vids. Btw, I've got this code in place on my board for years now (different dimensions) and I'm very pleased with it.
Thanks in advance!

- Code:
/*--- RESIZE AND CENTER EMBEDDED (YT) VIDEOS --------------------*/
.post .postbody .content.clearfix div embed {display:block !important;margin:0 auto !important;width:700px !important;height:450px !important;}

It's not a bad suggestion, but the problem I see is if someone wants to display embedded media as a certain size AND in a certain position it would cause problems for them.

True, but when will that be? The only media shared on here are YT vids.
Anyway, I'm happy to see it declined if you don't want it. No hard feelings ofc, it was just a suggestion.
Nite!

Yes, but if I or someone else were to share flash objects like these for example, it would make them appear stretched. You could however use the attribute selector to only select youtube videos though..
I'll leave this open for a little while to see what everyone else thinks.
- Code:
.postbody .content embed[src*="youtube.com"] {
display:block !important;
margin:0 auto !important;
width:700px !important;
height:450px !important;
}

I agree.Ange Tuteur wrote:It's not a bad suggestion, but the problem I see is if someone wants to display embedded media as a certain size AND in a certain position it would cause problems for them.
