[IMPLEMENTED] New message notification in the navigation bar

I'd like to suggest a different collor for new posts that have arrived. At this moment it's the same color, so it's easy to miss. http://prntscr.com/aq0dyt

@Samantha I'm going to have to agree with you there. Sometimes I don't notice I have a PM because the link is the same color. I'll go ahead and add a very noticable color to it. Thanks for the suggestion Wink

Alright. I see you changed the color now. I first get a 'Notification' in the FA notification bar, but then it still says in the color of gray I have no new messages in your bar. Upon refreshing the page it then says in orange I've got a new private message. Shouldn't this be displayed without manual page refreshing?

Oh, are you referring to this bar ? It's a clone of the base navbar, so it's in no way a part of the toolbar. I'd have to write a separate plugin which polls for changes in the notifications and then update the page content. Might be a good idea for a future project, though. Think

Oooooh ! To tell you the truth I thought it was the default navbar at the top, because they both look the same. xD

Anyway, I'll write the idea down in my notes for updating the new message links. Salute

I think it would be good, even for people without the toolbar.
