Thanks for sending them online!
I made 1 change regarding a missing letter.
Also I want to ask you if you can set the "image text" Alias more central?
It looks with non-uppercase a bit non-central.
An example, you see that they are more at the bottom, right?
Could you change these Alias?:
Set more central:
- i_post
- i_reply
- i_reply_locked
- i_icon_quote
- i_icon_multiquote
- i_icon_thanks
- i_icon_edit
- i_msg_newpost
- upload_pic
Missing letter:
- main_title
Hope this is okay for you.

@Bigtuber Thanks, I corrected the translation !
About the images, they were supposed to be uppercase ( like English ), but I forgot to capitalize them.. I updated the images so that they're just like the English ones. Let me know if that's okay.

Alright, uppercase is good too then.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Cool ^^
I sent it online earlier so it should be available. Only thing is you need to switch from the current translation to another, and then back to the one you were on to update it. I need to think about creating a üpdate" translation button.

Images are now uppercase, great!
But my change isn't live at the moment. (Yea, I changed the language and refreshed my browser site)

Oooh I know why ! Because the translation changed it couldn't be replaced.
Go to Admin Panel > Display > Templates > General > viewtopic_body and add the missing "n" to the title. After that it should correct the translation procedure.
The translation algorithm works like this :
It replaces the content in translation_a with the content in translation_b
So for example EN to DE :
'Total Posts' --> 'Gesamt-Beiträge'
If the content in the forum is different from the content in the alias it wont be replaced with the new translation. I might have to push out update instructions in the future if translations are changed like this.

Works perfectly, thanks.
Good ! ^^
I'll need to make sure in the future that if we make changes to exisiting translation content, we send an update first and THEN update the translation file.
Now we know

Yea, that was the problem.
So if you add new aliases, I'm here.
So if you add new aliases, I'm here.
I would translate some parts a bit different, namely like in forumotion.
total_posts - Anzahl der Beiträge
total_topics - Anzahl der Themen
total_users - Anzahl der Mitglieder
The translation made by bigtuber is correct in the meaning, but no german would say "Gesamt-Beiträge". It's very colloquial.
Only a tip to improve the translation.

Hey @schiggysboard,
I looked up the regular translation and you're right.
It's ok, you can change this like schiggy mentioned, Ange.
Also changed the translation from the 3 aliases in the first post.
Danke, schiggysboard
(Thanks, Schiggysboard )

@schiggysboard thanks for the corrections, I've pushed them online !
If you're currently using the German translations go to Admin Panel > Display > Colors
1. Right click and choose "Inspect" or "Inspect Element" ( it varies based on the browser )
2. Click console tab.
3. Paste the script below into the console and hit the ENTER key.
It should correct the translation on your end.
Thanks for your help guys

Doesn't work.
Is it possible to change it in the templates too?
I can't find the right template, lol.

The translation for those aliases are in the CSS. I assume the second best method would be to use the search bar to find the translation and replace it with the new one.
Gesamt-Beiträge --> Anzahl der Beiträge
Gesamt-Themen --> Anzahl der Themen
Gesamt-Mitglieder --> Anzahl der Mitglieder
At least until I write another solution. I was fairly certain that would work since I do the same via ajax.

Hey @Ange Tuteur, isn't it because of the special character "ä" being used? I know in German that can be replaced by "ae". Perhaps you should rule that out before continueing with your second best option.

Oh, damned.
This loads toooooooooo long.
Whole site freezes.
I tried your first solution again but that really doesn't work. I did the steps and got the submit button but nothing changed.

@Samantha nah, it has to do with Forumotion's codemirror. I think the value is still living there.
@Bigtuber try pasting this script into the console instead :

Hello Ange!
Improved 2 aliases:
- record_users
- board_age
record_users:
Die meisten Besucher, die jemals online waren ---> Rekord der gleichzeitig online gewesenen Benutzer
board_age:
Alter des Forums (in Tagen) ---> Bestehen des Forums (in Tagen)
Also changed that in the first post.
Thanks in advance
