Chatbox default text color

Hello @Ange Tuteur,

So i changed the colors of the default chatbox and it's appearance but my main issue that keeps staying there is the default text color.. That color keeps staying with that color and i cannot change it to white for any reason..

How can i change not only the input's color but the default color of the chat as well ?

@Luffy : To make things clear on this, you want the in-chat color to remain #FFF at all times and the message box color (whatever color they chose) to be #FFF as well? If so, people will be able to select a color, but it won't be displayed as such, just in white ...

@Samantha, i want all the messages to be white. If we can change that i can hide the color button so that no one can change the color unless they use bbcode tags which i would prefer the white color to overwrite them as well..

Right. So, now you've got 2 options. Either you wait for Ange to help you, or I could give it a try.

Mind you, I've got a way with CSS and this is purely CSS related. My knowledge about Edge is as good as 0 and, using 3rd party cb sw, my knowledge of the default chat is dated, but I could give it a try if you lent me an admin account (credentials & link via PM please) because it's purely elements that are involved.

I don't mind sharing the link with you but i have to tell you i tried body#message or body#chatbox and all the elements containing the chatbox with !important but nothing changed. I believe it's something that has to do with the theme and these random color choices it does (if i am guessing right).
