Category image responsiveness
Page 1 of 1 • Share
Hello all,
I am trying to build up my new theme and i want to add images next to the folder icons for each category. But on phone and on tablets with huge resolutions you can see that the row is enlarging but the image is still there.. I would like it when the row enlarges the image height to enlarge as well to look similar and more professional as a design.
How it should be normally: http://prntscr.com/c25h3a
How it is: http://prntscr.com/c25heh
Of course i know that's from the description of each category but how can i set it so when the description makes the row bigger to make that padding too?

@Luffy you should try wrapping the images with a container like this :
Then set the container's position to absolute and set both the top and bottom properties to 0. Something like this :
You may need to adjust the position of left so it doesn't overlap the category icon. Oh and make sure to put the background color on this container instead of the image.
- Code:
<div class="desc-img"></div>
Then set the container's position to absolute and set both the top and bottom properties to 0. Something like this :
- Code:
.desc-img {
position:absolute;
top:0;
bottom:0;
left:36px;
}

@Ange Tuteur i have to do that in the Admin Panel in each category? Because in the templates there's no element that i can wrap with the div class..
@Ange Tuteur in the template there's no element to wrap those images. How can i wrap them?
I do have a wrap code for the FORUM_DESC in the template but that's what i am using..

Yeah, try adding your category icons inside the forum description. So you get something like this :
- Code:
<div class="desc-img"><img src="CATG_ICON"/></div>

Thank you !
