I've made a topic about site improving and tools for that. You can find it here.

When you've finished running the speed checker, you can go into the details page and see what element takes loading longer than expected and try to improve them one by one, step by step. I advise you to run the speed checker several times and look for an avarage loading time.

These are some common factors that can slow down your website :

1. Advertisements & Tracking
Advertisements require loading external resources AND track your users. More ads == more revenue, but also means longer loading times.

2. Share widgets
The like, tweet, +1 buttons each require external resources which translates to longer loading times. I'd recommend just an image that links to the necessary page, rather the heavy scripts offered by these companies.


I tested with Brave to gauge the different loading times on your landing page :

Ads & Trackers enabled : About 8-10 seconds to load the page.
Ads & Trackers disabled : About 2-5 seconds to load the page.
