[SOLVED] Topic Icons: Can it overlap?
Page 1 of 1 • Share
Hi forum. ^^
canvasforums.com / applies to all pages / phpbb2
Issue:
Our page count shifts down when using a Custom Topic Icon.
Also, when there is a page count the Icon shifts up and is misaligned.
Question:
Is there a way to align the text and the icon? We have it somewhat aligned using the 'margin' value.

(P.S. - I wasn't sure how to phrase this one. Sorry!)

Hey there!
I was just checking your site, but there's no way I can see the forums as they're blocked to guests.
In my opinion either it's got something to do with the icon size you're using (the custom icons). In that case you'll need to check the size of your default icons and make the custom ones the same size,
or
you've got an extra <br> sitting somewhere in your forum description text field. If so, you could try by deleting the <br>. You can check for HTML codes and switch between viewing modes by using the WYSIWYG button: http://prnt.sc/bypl4i

Hai @Samantha,
Our default forum Icons are 32px by 32px (xxx) while our Custom Topic Icons are 30px by 30px (xxx) so they're smaller and shouldn't move the page count.. I don't know if it might be because the default topic icons are in a different container/div than the Custom Topic Icons or what?
And by Forum Description do you mean this?

Alright. Always try to keep the same sizes.
Your forum description field can be found here: ACP > General > Categories & Forums
Next, hit the orange wheel to change the forum you need to modify, then:

Forumotion always had a (hidden) <br> sitting in that field. You can try by deleting it. It's just a linebreak and doesn't need a closing tag like </br>
Gonna try changing the Icon sizes by 2px to make them match and see if that works.
Checked our forum description fields and none of them have <br>s..

Alright. @Ange Tuteur is back on now. I'm gonna leave it to him from here. I'm not that tech savvy, yk. I tried, though Good luck!
I know the feeling LOL.
Opened up the forum's Elements though and I found this little hidden <br> right above the "Go to page" but I'm not too sure how to remove it. :I
