[SOLVED] How to CC someone in a PM?
Page 1 of 1 • Share
- GuestGuest
I just wish I knew how to CC someone in a PM message, like when I warn someone as a staff member. Is there a way, @Ange Tuteur?

CC = Carbon Copy, like we use that in our e-mails.

Hmm.. well I know that you could save the document via File > Save as or CTRL+S. That'd save the PM + page directly to your hard disk. Or is CC'ing different from what I'm thinking ?

It's explained here. It's just standard in e-mail programs, yet unavailable when using PMs on FM.
I see now. Unfortunately Forumotion doesn't have this functionality, we can only "send" messages to a number of users. If you wanted someone to receive a copy of the PM you'd need to include their username in the recipients, or send them a quote / reply of your message.

Darn. Alright, fair enough. Thanks for your time and looking into this.

That's no CC. A CC is a copy of a sent message. It's in no way meant to be directly addressed to the one being CC-ed and merely informative of nature. A BCC is a Blind Carbon Copy. The ones in the BCC field will receive a copy of the message, but the addressees will not be visible to others.

That's the same as a BCC with that difference that they'll think they're being directly addressed to. That's so wrong. Aaaand unavailable to members.
