Hi !

This topic is for suggesting new awards for our award system, as well as for seeing how to obtain certain awards. If your award suggestion is accepted you'll be awarded with the "Award Maker" award. You can find a list of all the awards as well as your progress below.

Notes :

• Common awards ( such as posts, likes, points, etc.. ) are updated globally once a day.
• Awards are also updated when a staff member notices you've accomplished a task.
• If you've achieved the prerequisites for an award, but still haven't received it you can let us know below in a reply.

Well, why don't you make the icons gender dependend? Blue for male members and pink for female members? Just another silly Sammy thought Or have members to choose their own color, have them pick a color from a pull-down menu, the way I got my 'Moods' set in the profiles on my site yk.

Don't worry, the colors of the awards are actually going to be based on the theme. So, you'll be able to choose the color you prefer when it's ready.

Well, I've finally managed to write a workaround for that bug I mentioned before, so now I'll be able to pull the statistics of users which will expand the possibilities of awards.

and to start this off, here are the new awards that @Rhino.Freak suggested.
• Friendly ( 5 Friends )
• Friend Lord ( 25 Friends )
• Friendzone Master ( 50 Friends )
You'll be receiving your Award Maker award, buddy.

Yeah, you're right, I like Reputation myself.

I love the new awards, especially now you use the same symbol and add like 5, 15, 25 to it. It's all very understandable now. And tbh, I like the idea of having a certain distinction between THANKS and LIKES. Thanks are more precious to me . I've been wondering for years now what cool addition it 'd give to us as members. Nothing 'till now, but perhaps @Ange Tuteur could write us a script that shows all of our THANKS & LIKED given & received in our profiles.

I'm no Scrooge on giving thanks nor giving likes at all, but they've to be really good. I'm no n00b nor newbie yk.

Haha yeah, I may go back and change some icons in the future if I need to.

It should be possible to move the thanks and up votes to the profile by getting the stats via AJAX. After all, we have a wealth of info on a member from that page.

When I go to the achievement list, I am not getting my awards, but a message fetching award data.... It has been this way over 5 minutes.

Nevermind!  It is working now.

Oh sorry, I was working on getting something up and running. It should be working now, though.

I love the new awards. But.. how will one be able to reach the God award when there are only 59 awards one can collect? The God award should be award #61.. lel

Haha you're right, that just means no one can become a god. Don't worry though, I'll be adding more awards again soon.

Not at the moment, no. It's not very edit friendly at the moment, since it requires editing JavaScript to distribute awards and update stats.

Alright. Well I can't wait until the code is fully adapted and working so we can all use this wonderful system!
