Hi !

This topic is for suggesting new awards for our award system, as well as for seeing how to obtain certain awards. If your award suggestion is accepted you'll be awarded with the "Award Maker" award. You can find a list of all the awards as well as your progress below.

Notes :

• Common awards ( such as posts, likes, points, etc.. ) are updated globally once a day.
• Awards are also updated when a staff member notices you've accomplished a task.
• If you've achieved the prerequisites for an award, but still haven't received it you can let us know below in a reply.

Okay, I added in a little rating scale to go with the achievers list. So you'll get an idea of how rare an award is.

Common :	100 - 80%
Uncommon :	79 - 60%
Rare :	59 - 40%
Very Rare :	39 - 20%
Ultra Rare :	19 - 0%

Turns out 88% of the awards are Ultra Rare, though.

They're all awesome, man!

Im thinking about new medal with reward within, so there are 3 or many boxes will appear randomly in any topic posts (inside post's content). Use dice bbcode maybe

New medal : Treasure Hunter, who collected the golden/silver/bronze chest in forum and he/she will receive a reward based on color of the chest.

- Golden Chest : you'll get a free rename card on FM Design (no need point) - contact Admin/GM.
- Silver Chest : icon before username and a new rank
- Bronze Chest : icon before username

With that in mind, I have also thought of a "Lottery" award.
Winning the 6 numbers (or so) will grant the user an exclusive award medal for a limited amount of time.

(Let's have a forum lottery!)

I made some slight modifications. Instead of each rating getting 20% I changed it just a tad :

Common :	100 - 50.1%
Uncommon :	50.0 - 30.1%
Rare :	30.0 - 15.1%
Very Rare :	15.0 - 5.1%
Ultra Rare :	5.0 - 0%

5.. 10.. 15.. 20.. 50.. I think that makes more sense than 20% being ultra rare.

More than that, members should be able to have options regarding Awards post field. Hence they can hide/show awards list and hide/show specific award.

I'd be very unhappy with the 'Guy' award! Perhaps 90% of his audience is male, but where still here alright, yk!

First two might be hard to track, but I'll take them under consideration. I'm sure I can develop something to scan the forum. My reply to the last award is down below, yo.

I've got an idea for a new award: Affiliate of the Month (AOTM). If affiliated the way of getting this time exclusive award goes to the one that has been advertising the most.

Just to add on that AOTM award, it should be given to a member who has met the following criteria:

1. (like what Samantha said) Advertising the most
   
2. Advertised forum has a considerable amount of forum activity

Maybe a member would be so active in advertising but it has no forum activity?

Well, that's just a suggestion. Not to be taken seriously. I know it'd be hard to monitor such thing. Just giving out ideas.

Honestly, I don't believe your 2nd criterium will hit it. It just may be so that a certain site is being promoted often for that very reason of drawing in new members and step up activity.

Got your point. Just a suggestion as what I've said.

It'd be one way to award affiliates, however, I think it'd be a difficult one to judge and track.

How about one called "Let me help you" and the one who helps in 5 topics will get that and 10 and 50 or something like that?

For quite a long time of existence, everyone of us desires something more. Achievement can be one of them, numerous attempted to accomplish what they want, many succeeded and many more were failure.

how about a wish corrupter award? i noticed that you had an almighty ban hammer award for those who had posted in the ban game thread, why not also have this one?

Hmm.. It depends how popular it is, so I'll consider it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Now that I (w)helped () your website grow, I think the next stepping stone should be the 2,500 / 5,000 posts & points awards. Since the symbol ur using (a rocket) I imagine them to be stars / universe like. What do you think?

- 10,000 Points
- 4 Years
- 60 Beta Tests ?

I didn't move on 'em yet though. Y'know names and stuff

Oh noes ! My secret has been exposed !

I think PlayStation has one of the best established achievement systems. Although it does lack a few things like tracked progress on the achievement. ( I like that on Steam ) Nonetheless PSN was one of the inspirations for this award system.
