General Updates and Notifications

Hello,

I thought it would be a good idea to open a topic to update you guys on changes and what have you. You should also be able to reply if you happen to have any questions regarding whatever is posted here.

So currently there have been a few changes, I'll list them below.

HTML was disabled, so if you used HTML it wont format. I converted most things over to bbcode that was in HTML like some of the tutorials. I was also nice enough to convert signatures that were in HTML to bbcode too.

You should be able to reply to tutorials now if you have any questions or feedback as well. I've posted up a new tutorial also.

I would like to let you all know about my absences. I am in the process of moving as we're in foreclosure and the settlement is on the 15th of May, on top of that I am also finishing up my work. If I am not on the forums, you should now know why.

I've finally gotten around to updating the affiliates layout for the portal and affiliates page. You affiliates should now get better recognition in the new table than before.

I've been working on this for the past month :

It was actually sitting in an HTML document for the first Month and a half. I was using it to practice JavaScript and have some fun at the same time. Now I've set it up on that forum for testing Scores and linking the updates. I guess now I'll probably be redesigning that forum, and maybe change it's name over to something else for these types of projects.

I just tried it and saved my scores as guest.

The score saving for guests is working great. I just need to fix the members as it gives an error during submission.

Hi everyone,

Just letting you know that I added a new profile field to customize the posting profile. Think of it as a little test for something I am working on. If it works okay, I might keep it here, and of course share it once I'm finished.

You can find it under Profile > Information > Customize Profile


I have also updated the category icones and add a unique one for each category. I still have a few to change elsewhere, but the front is done.
