no, I would remove the blue backdrop and remain only the words " ilforumditutti " with that design , and it was clear to the bottom .

That may be a bit difficult to do since the logo is made up of different shades/saturations of blue and the background is also blue.. I'll give it a try though and see how it goes. ><

@Teo! I tried removing the background to make the original image transparent but it just came out looking.. Pixel-y and uneven and just not pretty ><
So I recolored it to match the current background of your forum header;
