It looks like it is adding two lines.

Hi @SLGray,

It looks like the default margin on the lists. You can remove it with the following CSS rule if you want. Wink
Code:
.content ul, .content ol {
  margin:0;
}

I have the same issue, only with all the text not just lists.
Only way to fix it manually is for me to exit WYSIWYG mode and delete the extra space.
(It's as if WYSIWYG adds 2 line breaks per one "enter")

Thanks.  So it is best to not use WYSIWYG mode while using lists?

Lists have a pretty large margin between the text above and below to begin with, but the position of the tags can increase it. For example :

This is easier to read, but has a larger space above and below (+2 line breaks) :
Code:
text above
[list]
[*]item 1
[*]item 2
[*]item 3
[/list]
text below
text above

  • item 1
  • item 2
  • item 3

text below

This is a bit harder to read, but has less space above and below (0 line breaks) :
Code:
text above[list][*]item 1
[*]item 2
[*]item 3[/list]text below
text above
  • item 1
  • item 2
  • item 3
text below

I'm assuming WYSIWYG mode formats the lists like in my first example, which would explain the extra space. Added with the margin on the lists, it makes the space look even bigger.
