Is there any way to close the gaps between the boxes of the forum?

There's also this annoying half broken border around some of the headers/forums. Is there a way to globally remove them?

In regards to the borders, try adding the following CSS rule to your stylesheet.
Display > Colors > CSS stylesheet

td.row3Right, td.spaceRow, td.cat, td.catBottom, td.catHead, td.catLeft, td.catRight, td.catSides {
  border:none;
}
It should remove them, but if there are any left over let me know. Wink

Use this CSS rule to move the announcement block down :

Use this CSS rule to move the stats bar up :

#fa_stats {
  margin-top:-10px;
}

You can increase the value to change the distance. Wink
