The problem is coming from this CSS rule in your stylesheet :
The login page is uneditable via the templates, because of this it uses some classes from phpbb3 such as .panel, .inner, or .module.

The solution would be to remove it or change the class of the element that you're targeting. What is the option that you added to the forum ?

Yes, phpbb3 uses the ".panel" classname for containers, and this option he added also uses the ".panel" class. My suggestion would be to edit this option and change the classname of the containers since we cannot edit some templates on forumotion.
