Can I please have help making the FAE Chatbox visible to staff only?

I'm sorry to say, but that's not possible with Forumotion's default chatbox. Even if you hide it on the front page, members can still access the chatbox via the direct url. i.e. https://fmdesign.forumotion.com/chatbox
Hiding the entire chatbox with CSS wont work 100% either, because those with the technical know-how can remove the rules hiding the chatbox and join in on your "private" conversation. I don't recommend it for your security and privacy. I would suggest either a third-party chatbox that can be embedded on your forum, or a topic in the staff area for general chat.
