I tried following this tutorial to remove the "Mark all read" and "Top 20 ...." links from my forum (ver phpBB2) but I can't seem to find this code snippet in our index_box HTML
Here's the content of my forum's index_box page:

Tried the first one and it did the job as well ^^ Old but still gold!
Any idea why the codes didn't match up? o-o I triple-checked to make sure the thread I was using was for phpBB2 LOL.

They may have pointed you in the direction of the wrong template. Sometimes people mix up the index_box and index_body, myself included. xP
