I'm assuming it's just another ad or tracker installed by Forumotion in an attempt to make more revenue or gather data. Is it degrading the experience at all ? An example would be lovely because I don't have an ipad to check.

Ah thanks, I wasn't seeing that. From what I can tell, that's where the 728x90 ad banner displays at the top of the page. Here :


Does the ad display for you, or is it just text like in your example ? Also, I don't seem to be experiencing the problem on my end, can anyone else confirm ?

Its looks like a bug on google ads services code or it conflicts with something else.

It appears to be a problem with either google adsense OR Forumotion, because someone forgot a basic rule of JavaScript and didn't escape the same quotes inside a string. It's nothing I'll be able to fix since we're not allowed to touch the ads. So, we'll have to wait on one side or the other for a fix.

As it seems the technicians fixed the problem now or disabled ads temporary but it is not appearing.
