Pointing my domain at my new forum

The time has come for me to change over now so I need to point my domain at the new forumotion forum but even looking at the walk-though I am a little sacred of doing it just in case I mess things up? Do you think that if I give forumotion, Admin access to the domain? They would change the DNS entries for me? or is this something they won't do?.

I have just had a pm from Buttercup and they won't do it so I guess I'll have to try myself fingers crossed

I'll be honest that I have no experience with domains. If you need any assistance I'm sure either someone on the support, or the support team of where you registered the domain will help assist you.

Ok thank you Ange. I have been asking the question since Monday on support, but so far got no reply, I am now desperate as my members can not access either the old forum of the new

I have asked this on FM but don't seem to be getting anywhere so I thought I would ask here in case someone has some knowledge of this. I am having trouble sorting this out, for something that is suppose to be quite simple I just can sort it. I was sent a video today but its in French so I don't completely understand that either, the Cpanel shown in the link http://help.forumotion.com/t7021-cname-redirect-an-extern-domain-name-that-you-own-to-your-board is completely different to what I have as show below. I was also sent a video but that was in French and it wasn't anything like what my Cpanel is like
Is there anyone out there who can help me sort out the problem I am having please.
