Broadcasting Duo Update: NEW FEATURE!

I have a MAJOR announcement: Yesterday (2/16/2015) Broadcasting Duo's Administration released Broadcasting Duo's newest and greatest feature: Featured Stations (Live Streams/Radio Streams) on the HOMEPAGE. This feature has been a work in progress for just about 2 weeks or so, I had been working on it gradually over that time period (I would like to personally thank @Ange Tuteur for his helpful suggestions and guidance while I was working on this feature), it has finally been finished and rolled out yesterday. Our homepage is now a Featured Stations page (this is a major milestone for any Broadcasting focused website to achieve). For the time being the only stations featured are run and owned by our VIP Members, however, their may be the possibility it could be expanded more broadly over time. Enjoy listening to our Featured Stations everyone!

I have a Medium update for you all: Our [AWC] chatbox is back in 100% working order, running on version 2.0 which is in Beta Testing! We have added an additional feature to our #Featured_Stations_Homepage . We have added a 'View Channel' link for each featured station on our homepage. This will allow easier access to everything that station has to offer (Live Chatrooms) etc. A new topic has been started where you can show off your Broadcasting Equipment!

Don't worry, we will continue to slowly work on adding more and more to the page. Member of The Month is something we have been working to implement in for a few months now, we have done so now. What Member of Month is, is something that we hope will help boost activity and encourage members to post. How it works is, the member(s) who have been the most active, have posted the most (not spamming mind you), have contributed a lot and other factors in a month will be considered for Member Of The Month, members who fit under a set of flexible criteria will be considered for Member Of The Month. Member of the Month will come with its set of special perks. Members of the month will be: Will be more likely to be considered for free VIP Membership based on contributions to the site, the more you get member of the month, the more likely you may become to hopefully getting a FREE vip membership when/if we consider who has earned VIP Membership status. I have some minor updates:   Our Member of the month has been in effect for 2 months and it seems to be a success. We have had 2 Members of the Month so far, both have maintained great activity since its implemenation, he hope many more will contiune to be active as well. This feature was created for you all, so we want you all to be able to get it atleast once. Broadcasting Duo Update: Contest!

I have a major update: Broadcasting Duo is getting ready to hold its 1st ever poetry contest. The poetry contest will begin on September 24th. Here is some information about the contest: The rules for the contest are simple: 1.All submissions must be original, and free of plagiarism and cussing(swearing),  free of any hints or suggestions to nudity, product or software hacks and/or pirated software and/or radio, plagiarized or not original submissions will be declared ineligible and/or removed. 2. Contest Judges can submit an entry, however, that particular judge will not be able or allowed to judge his/her's own submission. The other judges must be the ones to judge it. This acts a checks and balance system that way all submissions, even those made by judges will be judged fairly. The contest judges are: Brandon tester12 TigerTankFan Winners will receive: 1st place: This rank under their name for temporary period of time (up to a month or two):   Be included on a post on our Facebook page and 200 smart coins, as well as their username placed in a topic on the BD.  2nd place: 100 smart coins and be in the post our Facebook page as well a special topic on BD. 3rd place: 75 smart coins and be in the post our Facebook page as well a special topic on BD. Broadcasting Duo Update:

I have a few major updates: Today we re organized the site a little bit based on our latest reviews as well as user feedback. Here is a run down of some of the changes:   The category 'Professional Radio' has been changed to 'Amateur and Professional Radio'.  Within this category the 'Shoutcast server' sections and category were merged with this category. 2 new sections created within this category: 'Professional Radio' and 'Amateur radio'.  The Shoutcast server sections were moved into 'Amateur Radio' and the 'FM/AM Radio' and 'Satellite Radio' sections were moved into the 'Professional Radio' section. A 'Tech Support' section was added under 'Other Equipment' after the new mobile devices section as well.  A new section called 'Mobile Devices' was added in the 'Other Equipment' section. Within this new section there are 3 new sub sections: -Streaming -Apps -Support All of these changes were done to further optimize the site's layout and hopefully make it even more user friendly then it already is. I have a few major updates to report: Our poetry contest has finished and the judges are now deliberating and working to decide the results. Broadcasting Duo Update: Contest Results!
