To color the cells on the index when a new message is posted

I suggest a plugin conversion to FA Edge from Forumotion Tips (Forumactif in French).

Description of plugin : It supposed to be a plugin when a new message is posted, the color of the cells on the index of your forum will change to another color that you want.
Version of Plugin : For Phpbb2, punBB, Invision & Phpbb3 (i think you need only phpbb3 version for FA Edge)

I think it would be useful to have the addresses of the basic images when we have the minimized CSS on FA Edge.

As long as the new post images contain the query "state=new" in the URL, it should work without any issues.
