What's up guys?
What's up guys?
CSS is still one of my personal favorites. There's so many tricks and ways to design HTML elements. Although in the beginning it can be pretty silly trying to align some boxes for, like 3 hours.
Whoopsie, that slipped past me !! I think I fixed it now, thanks for mentioning that.Zyon wrote:Yeah, I wanted to ask why i can edit my "account setting" when I'm not mod...
Super ! Thanks again
I'm wanting to design themes again, so I've been working with CSS a lot more lately.. A lot of my old themes had a few mistakes here and there, since I wasn't too experienced. I know what I'm doing now, so I hope to design some nice themes for people to use.. that means making graphics too hehe. ^^
@Rhino.Freak I forgot to ask, show me a drawing ? pretty pleeease

Themes take a looot of time and patience.. I almost have the CSS done, after that I'll be working on the graphical portion. I'm trying to do a little bit at a time, then when I'm satisfied I'll submit it.
Oh I have tonnes of drawings XD Don't know which one to show so I'll show my top 3 (according to me) here
Oh oh I love CSS TOO XD because well its nice and awesome and the hover effects just make it epic XD
I designed 2 themes yet (using a simple skin as a base).. it takes lot of time but looks really good XD

- Naruto chakra mode:

You are really good at drowing.
Themes can use a lot of time, especially if you don't know exactly how you want something and need test designs.
PS. Ange, why you don't create twitter account for FM Design?

Thank you
I think this forum is underrated.. not much people know about it. But I kinda like it this way... the more people join and be here, it'll get crowdy. I come here because I like the calmness in here.

Yes, I feel this would be beneficial to everyone on fm, (It has been for me) Ange is awesome in just about every part and feature in the acp (at least the crucial stuff). I will do my part to spread the word!

@Rhino.Freak wooow you're really good ! Seriously nice work !!
Also, I think the awesomeness of those drawings broke the image resize thingy I wrote. I'm gonna have to look into that.
CSS was the first one I got the hang of, JavaScript took me a bit longer, but I'm still prone to mistakes even now. I usually start with the Prosilver default theme and start writing some CSS into the Firefox style editor. However, if I'm making a variant of one of my themes I just take the CSS and change the colors. i.e. Light Theme => Dark Theme
I've gotten more experience in Graphics, so I hope to do better this time around.
Just kidding, I love you guys.

It's more personal to me, so I just use my main account. Plus it's not like I tweet everyday.Ivan Kerepčić wrote:PS. Ange, why you don't create twitter account for FM Design?
Oh no, that claustrophobic feeling ! hehe, I feel if people want to join, they'll join. I'm not going to force them to register, because, well, I don't like forcing people to do things they don't want to.Rhino.Freak wrote:I think this forum is underrated.. not much people know about it. hehe, thanks. I still get lost in there sometimes.brandon_g wrote:Yes, I feel this would be beneficial to everyone on fm, (It has been for me) Ange is awesome in just about every part and feature in the acp (at least the crucial stuff). I will do my part to spread the word!
I'm going to frame this and put it on my wall.Ivan Kerepčić wrote:Yes, i love Ange too

I'm at mobile so it will take long to delete unnecessary things so I will just quote all..
1. I starting with default themes and templates when working on forums styles, but when I work on Joomla I delete template and write my, and css just edit.
2. I using Firefox style editor too. It's great thing. You sayed me for that, remember?
3. For twitter: That's ok. I just asked
4. You will have my qoute on wall? Oh so cool. LOL.
5. Can you say what's your real name (just name) and from where are you? I don't know anything about you and I talked with you a lot of times bifore...
6. Thanks for changing my informations in ucp.
When not working on forums I like to create something from nothing. Sorta like this, that took me almost a whole week.
Yep I remembered, it's so nice to have some tools that display the changes as you make them. I've been using the Firefox devtools since I started. When I was first learning JavaScript I was using the Firefox scratchpad to run and test my scripts..
My name is Seth ! Just like my twitter name, although that's my First, last, and birth year. That was initially my name on the support when I joined, but I eventually changed it to the one I used on other forums. Plus I didn't like the numbers, and it's not a mouth full.
No problem. ^^

I know you was called SethC1995 everywhere.
Some time you was my inspiration at Forumotion, I had more posts, but I hadn't time, I leaved little after you becomed Support mod because I feelt like I haven't time, I can't never become staff, I had warning and I wanted to learn php.
I comed few times just to see your position on it
PS. Just if you don't belive me, I remember you had about 1000 posts when you becomed staff.

Oh yes, I remember seeing you on there ! Anyone has a chance to become a staff member if they're effective, kind, and dedicated.. As for your warning, we opened a system a few months back in case you didn't know. You shouldn't feel bad though, if you put your mind to it, you can accomplish anything.
You're correct, I believe I was around 800 posts at the time. I remember after that, I had started studying JavaScript.
Well, since you're already asking me here, I see no reason for you to send me a PM on the support. However, I will send a PM on the support about the status of your appeal.
Yes, when I thought back after a year had past, I couldn't believe how many message I made.

I'm from the United States up North on the East Coast in the Mountains of Pennsylvania. Harsh winters, hot summers. One day I'd like to move to Canada or Europe. No, I have never been to Croatia, I wouldn't mind visiting. ^^Ivan Kerepčić wrote:Thanks.
So, yeah, from where are you? Town? Have you ever been in Croatia?
Do you have a DA ?Rhino.Freak wrote:Oh lol glad you liked it Ange the zoom-in feature in here is cool
Thanks I am still working at it, turns out the spoiler did it, not you. I didn't like the one in the AP something about it is too heavy for me, like how images don't appear while it's running. Kinda annoyed me. xD
true it feels so heavy XD
I do have a DA, but I don't really use it much or at all actually.. the whole UI of the site seems a BIT confusing to me. Maybe one day I'll start to update that too Glad to hear your interest
I'm working on a The Last Of Us drawing now... its the hardest ever ><
BTW, why don't you try to suggest some changes yourself to the FM's stuff? They might consider your thoughts more..lol

You are 3rd and only one who approved
To be known, I sayed member to tag as solved if it is solved when I helped member, and in same post I sayed you welcome so I think it's not hard broking anyway. I got all warnings on every forum on what I got it from same member: Sir Chivas... I think that guy don't like me
@Rhino.Freak, I have one too, although I do not use it a lot either. Oooh the last of us, good luck ! I didn't know you were so good at drawing.
I do sometimes bring up a few things, I never thought about bring up the image thingy .
@Ivan Kerepčić, Yes, we establish it around the summer. I think he was only following what was told, I don't think he dislikes you.

You live in PA Ange, I live next door, in NJ. I would love to live in PA though, I am into the survival stuff and you guys are pretty much all woods .
I think being a staff member on fm or knowing 1 closely is key to getting your suggestions and problem solved a bit quicker. Being a staff gains respect among everyone, Jadster is a freind of mine so hopefully if my forum (which he is an admin on) ever runs into trouble help is never too far away.
