That's called supporting the future features of Forumotion..

LOL.. who am I kidding ? I'd be surprised if someone from FA actually reads any of the suggestions on the support forums other than the French one. Still, I like reading the suggestions, because I can usually make a majority of them happen. It's like a coding challenge.

Yeah, I doubt they'll ever change that, because I'm assuming they want to reduce the amount of requests sent to the server. i.e. while you're in the chat you're constantly sending requests to the server to see if there's any new messages. Timing out the user if they're inactive will reduce the amount of requests sent. It makes sense to do it that way since it's a free service.

I appreciate that joke coming from you, but I suspected it to be fake anyway, cuz normally the text shows centered top and sometimes it shows the spinner. So, you need to work on that a bit more I'm afraid

Just reading and bumping some of those worthy suggestions, which I was in full hopes that it'd be noticed by the administrators or techies of the forum site. Didn't even seem to notice that I have boosted my post count, so yeah.

Unfortunately without the forum URL ( and sometimes the script in question ) I'll be trying to guess why something isn't working for someone. With the forum in question I'll be able to inspect it with the console for any errors. It's always faster to solve a problem when someone provides all information related to it.

Yh, lel, I know about the F12. Perhaps you should write us a bit of a tuto how to detect JS errors because it happens so often ppl complain about a script not working, while the error really lies in something differently on their sites.

It's not a bad idea, but to non-programmers it'd probably be a bit difficult to figure out, because it's exactly the same as debugging code ; They'd still need someone to fix it.

FM is a real rotten place to the bone now since Ange left. I hate copycats and staff abusing their postion: http://prntscr.com/avjc63 They're all taking advantage of things and it feels like the place got corrupted somehow.

Ugh, yk, the whole idea. And what I'm sharing now was really paid for by me. It was written by someone Ange knows alright. Perhaps I'm gonna stop sharing stuff cuz it only causes trouble.

I love the ones and I always protected them who shared personal codes with me.

Also, about that shop code, I'm not saying Mr. EasyBB didn't create it, but there's A LOT of places that it seems you can find it, just by searching the code in google. For example :

FM turned out to be a fake & 1 big hoax. Staff is self providing, covering for themselves... what a joke.. HHAAAAHAAA! I was warned by legit FM engineers b4, but I truly wouldn't believe. They're all honies of mine. They were sooooo true! Goodbye FM I'll be seeking another provider I will. GB to everyone too! Enjoy of Ange's site. I'm so glad FM won't be able to nick my domain name! haha! forgery and thievery, that's all FM's 'bout. The truth is hard to accept sometimes!

When ppl find out the truth about FM they get banned, just like the engineers were.
