[SUGGESTION] Show Smiley Meanings on Hovering

I've always wanted to request this one. When hovering over a smiley in a post one cannot see the meaning of it. I want to be able to see what it means, like when hovering over a Rose it says 'rose' or Evil or Very Mad shows 'evil'. I never uderstood why that never got noticed or implemented before.

And perhaps you'd be so kind to share the code... Smile

@Samantha that is an interesting idea and should be easy to accomplish. Surprised

Here's a draft that I wrote :
Code:
$.get('/smilies.forum?action=smilies&js=no&mode=smilies_frame', function(d) {
  window.smilies_data = {};

  for (var a = $('img', d), i = 0, j = a.length; i < j; i++) {
    smilies_data[a[i].src] = a[i].title;
  }

  $(function() {
    for (var a = $('.post img'), i = 0, j = a.length; i < j; i++) {
      if (smilies_data[a[i].src]) {
        a[i].title = smilies_data[a[i].src];
      }
    }
  });

  'par ange tuteur';
});

At the moment :
- it doesn't cache the smiley data, so it'll send a request to get the smiley data each time, but it should achieve the result you mentioned.
- it only grabs the titles from images viewable on the front page : https://fmdesign.forumotion.com/smilies.forum?action=smilies&js=no&mode=smilies_frame

I'll touch this up later when I get more time. The latter problem I mentioned might be a bit more difficult and I'll probably refrain from implementing it because it'll add to the request load.. Think
