Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance PSN Avatar Set
Page 1 of 1 • Share
I wanted to do a little more with Revengeance before I moved onto another project, so I decided to imitate PSN avatars. There are two versions available which will be included in the download link further on in this post. I firstly wanted to mimic the design of the MGS2 and MGS3 avatar packs on PSN; which have a head shot of the character within a rounded square. It was fairly easy to complete them all In a matter of minutes with a few touch ups around the edges if the render became too edgy. You can view a comparison of the avatars side by side below to see just how close I came to the original design of the MGS2 and MGS3 avatar set.
I chose a blue background because I felt there was a large palette of blue used in Revenegeance. The avatars above are the 240x240 versions, they also come in a smaller size of 140x140. The second version of this set are the head shots of the characters. One of my friends reminded me of the transparent avatars on PSN that just show the character without any backdrop. You can view the transparent version below, like the rounded square version they come in a size of 240x240 and 140x140.
In total there are 7 avatars for each set, each set also includes a 240x240 and 140x140 version of the avatar. You can review the contents of the download below.
Contents
Contains 7 Characters; a total of 28 png files
Each avatar has two versions 140x140 and 240x240
Total Size: 4-5MB
