Remove negative vote in rep system
Page 1 of 1 • Share
Someone's been abusing the negative vote option on my forum and I'd like to take it off so that we don't have any negative vibes and drama.
I found the link again. It removed the negative (-) sign, but the negative reputation still stays on the user's profile, and the red bar is still on the posts. x_x

Hi @Valoish,
You can hide the vote bar with this CSS rule :
As for the negative reputation, you can set negative votes to 0 by going to Admin Panel > Modules > Reputation > Reputation Management
Then just set all Negative votes to 0. You can do it in the very first field to apply it to all forums.
You can hide the vote bar with this CSS rule :
- Code:
.vote-bar, .vote-no-bar {
display:none;
}

Is there any way to hide these off of members' profiles as well?

Yeah we should be able to use a bit of CSS. Try adding this to your stylesheet :
There's no classes or anything except for their parent, but nth-child should work just fine in this area.
- Code:
/* removal of profile stats */
.stats-field:first-child li:nth-child(3), /* negative votes */
.stats-field:first-child li:nth-child(6), /* negative votes given */
.stats-field:first-child li:nth-child(7) /* thanks given */
{
display:none;
}
