Hi,
I won't be able to work on these right away at the moment, but I will write them down in my notes.
- Notified new friend requests in a widget
It is possible to rip the notifications from the toolbar, but you can also perform a manual check with AJAX.
- Notified new message on the bulletin board (example)
Could you go into more detail with this one, an image perhaps ?
