phpbb3: Fix The Forum Wrapper
Page 1 of 1 • Share
This quick tutorial will help you fix your forum wrapper by adding a small margin to the top and bottom. This prevents the forumactif toolbar from interfering with the page position when its opened or closed.
Admin Panel > Display > Pictures and Colors > Colors > CSS stylesheet
Then paste this in your CSS:
To make it more stylish and flow with the elements of the forum better I added a border radius of 10px to round the corners. If you have done the recent steps correctly your forum should now have a margin of 40px on top and 20px on the bottom. If you are not using the toolbar, but want a margin of 20px from the browser screen, change margin-top to 20px. If you do not prefer rounded borders you may remove border-radius from the code above. For an explanation of the properties used for editing read on.
border-radius: Is used to add rounded borders to an element.

Fixing The Wrapper
To fix the wrapper we will be adding a margin of 40px to the top and 20px to the bottom. The reason we are putting 40 on the top is because when the toolbar is opened about an equal amount of space will be displayed on the top and bottom however, it will appear uneven when it is closed so keep that in mind. To apply the code below navigate your way to..Admin Panel > Display > Pictures and Colors > Colors > CSS stylesheet
Then paste this in your CSS:
- Code:
#wrap {
margin-top:40px;
margin-bottom:20px;
border-radius:10px;
}
