Hello, I am here with another set of questions:
1. How to set Dark mode 'on' by default? I know you can do that via CP but then it overwrites my CSS and I have a lot of changes there. I also use default theme changer from here.
2. Is it possible to create a code that would enable changing the colour of some text / Font Awesome Icons when I change my theme?
Thank you in advance!
P.S. Will the award system ever be released?

Hi,
1.See if what blake said works.
2.Yes, it's possible, I'll take a look at the JS code that deals with the theme selector and see what I can do.
About the award system, I don't think it will be released soon. Ange said it requires quite a lot of javascript knowledge to use it and only a few people would be able to use it cause of that.

@Wolfuryo and @mr.blake214 thank you both for your replies. However, in my post I've stated I couldn't do this because it overwrites my CSS which I don't want. I want a way of tweaking only that and being able to change from light to dark and vice versa easily. Thanks.
Thank you for your help!
Wolfuryo, thank you!

So you have some custom CSS and doing what blake said would delete it? If so, you should copy that CSS somewhere(in a text file in your computer for example), then use the option in the fae panel. After that, paste the custom CSS back.

Thank you again. Well, I tried that but it seems that then all the changes are gone. Like since I am using that default theme changer plugin, I thought there's like an easy way to change the default mode as well. I hope there is anyways.

and paste the above code below the line the search option directs you to.
2. As far as I know, the text on your forums changes along with the theme; however, the Font Awesome icons remain white no matter what theme color or mode you're using. Other than that, I don't know what else you want.
Can you be a bit more specific as to what you're asking for?

Thank you very much for your effort. Unfortunately, installing this code brings back an old problem I had. I wrote about that in this topic. Are there any changes I could make to the new code to prevent this?
Thank you so much!
Removing this code now broke my forum's Dark Mode completely. Nvm, I've cleared my cookies and it helped.
As for number 2, I'd like to create a code that would change text / Font Awesome icons with the theme (like it does when you make headers). Would that be possible? I want this to happen only when I am using that code.
Thank you in advance.

I'm sorry but I'm super confused rn.
The Font Awesome icons remain white and changing the theme changes the background-color around the icons. I could try to make it work, but you would have to give me a few days.
And what did you mean by make headers?

My primarily concern is the design :c Is it possible to combine those changes and your code?
Yes, FA icons will remain the same. It's not a problem. But, if possible, I'd like a button like that that makes
This would change the colour with the theme (text).
Thank you!

Oh so you're saying your customCSS isn't showing up?
As for the h2, you want a button on the Sceditor that changes the color of text inside
tags when you post on a topic?

Hi again.
Yes, my customCSS is not showing up, I think. This is what happens with the code:
View Default (Default dark mode applied)
View when switched to non-default light mode
Forum without the new code provided by you:
View Default (Light)
View dark
Button. No, I want a button that would change the text to the theme's colour like that h2 does.
Thank you very much!
