I plan on sharing the code eventually, once I've setup a Github website which I've been procrastinating on. xD
Tmw your friend messages you on FB that she's looking at classes for next semester and it hits you again that you only have 2 more semesters to go before you're done with college and you're just sitting there freaking out but also hella happy and fhasjkdfaskl halp im having an early midlife crisis cri ; A;
Ahaha... I thought I was done with school as of last summer, but my mentors and teachers drew me back in to get my PhD. Sometimes... it never ends. I have many years of school still ahead. That's okay... I'm willing. But of course, I could frighten you by telling you I'm now age 28. Have fun!
@Ange Tuteur I definitely will~! Although it feels a bit odd not having a load of homework to do LOL. Been spending the past few days lazing around, watching Kdramas and sleeping in :'3
Possibly..
>u>
<u<
The cherry blossoms are blooming so it's the perfect time c; LOL.
@Dr Jay Best of luck with your PhD! Those years are definitely worth it in the end, though~! So many more opportunities open up and you can spend more time vacationing and traveling around after getting a PhD :B Pfft 28 is still young! LOL. You have your whole life ahead of you still
I'm not sure whether a PhD would be beneficial for a Finance major (and if I'll even want to stay in school past my Master's) but if I end up finding something I'm really interested in within the finance field I'll probably pursue a PhD, so I'll be in my late twenties by then as well LOL.

For me doing college teaching in the future, or college-level teaching, PhD would be necessary. It all depends on how deep you want to dive in. Once you cross into doctorate territory, it becomes all about research, which causes strain easily.
Yeah, College Professors have to have a PhD, or be in the process of getting one x_x I'm not sure about how deep I wanna get into Finance yet so I'm not even gonna think about the research part of the PhD xD Just thinking about the thesis I'm gonna have to write at the end of my senior year (which is only two semesters away cri) is giving me anxiety LOL.
I was just about to tell you the attachments weren't working LOL. xD
Gonna keep messin' with it to see what else I come across :B And stare at it for a bit to see what can be added to the UI but it seems like you got it all down already LOL.

I didn't even notice that 'til you pointed it out LOL. But yeah the font family is missing ;c
I already got a few ideas that could be implemented later on in the development stages of the Messenger :B I'll make a list (probs with explanations/descriptions and pictures) and send it over PM soon-ish

Thought so, I just added it into the CSS now. Well not now, but in the file on my computer. xD
Ah cool, I'll look forward to that ! There's still much to do, but we'll get it there slowly.

Welcome back ! How was it being dead ?
Thanks. I plan on making the next update big since I've nearly checked everything off the todo list. All major functions have been implemented and there has been no notable issues which is great, so I've decided to make the next release the first production ready release (v1.0.0). Needless to say, I've got a lot of work ahead of me lol.
On another note I've started using Brackets recently, because Atom has been using up A LOT of my CPU. It's surprisingly lightweight and just as functional as Atom was.. I got lost looking at all the themes and extensions yesterday. I tried VS Code too, but that was just about as heavy as Atom was. My potato prefers Brackets. xD

I was using Atom some time ago, when I was using Windows. Then my potato's HDD crashed and I used a live version of Parted Magic(a linux distribution) to recover some files. I liked the os and decided to give it a try. Now I'm trying to find a nice editor lol. I'll see if Brackets supports linux, might give it a try. Bye bye Windows lol
Edit:There's a button called OK in the emoji iframe from the messenger. It starts loading something when I click on it, but nothing else seems to happen. I think it should be removed.

@Valoish Yup, we're slowly inching closer until the next release ! Whenever you get back into coding you should give it a go, it's quite a versatile IDE for web development -- they have a built in live preview, but I think they said it only works with Chrome atm. Yeah VS Code was just about as good as Atom (and just as heavy to boot ).
@Wolfuryo I think they said linux was supported for Brackets, you can give it a check here if you haven't yet. You can also find some good open source editors here. (I was going through that the day I was looking for a new IDE)
Ah the drop down and "ok" button is for if there's multiple groups? for emoticons. Choosing a group from the list and then clicking OK would load those emoticons. Although upon further inspection the select element has an "onchange" event handler which already loads that group, so the OK button is kinda redundant. (might be for noscript ) I'll look into it on the other forum versions and if they're all the same I'll look into making some modifications to it. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, it seems to support linux. I tried it and it seems quite a nice editor(much better than the preinstalled one. Anyway, I have installed windows 10 and now I've got them both on the same laptop. I think I'll install ATOM, I really like the way it looks and the fact that you can customize it. My potato laptop will probably cry
