Hey!

I'm trying to create affiliate boxes at the bottom of the homepage (index), but I fail in doing so because it seems like the <div></div> trick doesn't work with the widgets in Edge ...

Plus, I'd like to know how to create them in between categories.

Hmm.. you *might* need to add the affiliates via the templates. Admin Panel > Display > Templates > General > index_body

You could also append the affiliates via JS as well. Admin Panel > Modules > JS code management > New

Placement : In the homepage
Code:
$(function() {
  var after = $('#who_is_online')[0],

      html = '<div class="content-block">'+
              '<div class="title">Affiliates</div>'+
              '<div class="txt-content">'+
                'Affiliates go here ! :D'+
              '</div>'+
            '</div>';

  if (after) {
    after.insertAdjacentHTML('afterend', html);
  }
});

The HTML string is an example, but if you want to keep it as is, place your affiliates where
Code:
Affiliates go here ! :D
is located in the script. If any questions let me know. Smile

No. I don't like to tamper with the templates and certainly not his. I'll be trying your solution this weekend on Saturday or next Monday if you don't mind and let you know. Smile Does this also mean <div></div> won't work on Edge, period? And if so, what alternatives do we have for the widgets? Just JS and/or editing the templates? And how do we place the affiliate boxes when we want them in between the cats?

Thanks for looking into this! Hello Hohoho
