Hey!
Do you know the TOTAL post number on the top right of a post?
In the forum version Invision, there is a post number which works just for the thread itself. So in my screenshot, the post from Ange would be #1 - it's the first post OF THE THREAD.
How about to change this or to add an option in the FAE control panel, so the users can choose between the total post number or for the thread?
By the way, this is the variable: {postrow.displayed.COUNT_POSTS_NUMBER}
Regards

Works the same way you described on Invision as on phpBB3. So I think it's Edge doing that. Doesn't really bother me.
@Bigtuber it's possible, I remember I saw it done before, but I can't remember where the script was. Anyways, try giving the following script a try instead.
Go to Admin Panel > Modules > JS codes management > Create a new script
Placement : In the topics
EDIT :
Scratch that, I think I see where the problem is coming from now.. you can just change the templates.
Go to Admin Panel > Modules > JS codes management > Create a new script

- Code:
$(function() {
var start = /\/t\d+p\d+/.test(window.location.href) ? +window.location.href.replace(/.*?\/t\d+p(\d+)-.*/, '$1') : 0,
a = $('.post-number'),
i = 0,
j = a.length;
for (; i < j; i++) {
a[i].innerHTML = '#' + ++start;
}
'par ange tuteur';
});

Perfect! Thank you very much!
No problem. You can also change it by the templates ; General > viewtopic_body
Replace :

But only problem with that variable is it displays the post number like "#Post °10" so it'd need a script or something to strip out the unnecessary stuff. The script I posted should work too though.
P.S.
The template modification uses the variable you posted. I only realized what it was after I posted my reply yesterday. xD

<a class="post-number" href="{postrow.displayed.POST_URL}">#{postrow.displayed.U_POST_ID}</a>
