The ice storm here was bad. The electricity had gone out for a few days, and some are still without power.

Oh gosh... I totally just read that as ice CREAM storm... don't ask where the cream part came from because I don't know, but that is what I saw... And it may have taken me more than one try to read it correctly...
Any way we had a storm here a few days ago I don't think it was bad though... or not for me any way but I live close to our city hall so almost never lose power anyway.

Too cold for ice cream 
We had the fireplace going and hooked up the generator to power somethings. I think there was a total of about 600,000 outages or more. It was a mess, but things are starting to get cleaned up.
