Posts/Topics Design Untitl22

Hey I was wondering if I could have help doing what he did to topics and posts, the background behind posts and topics. I thought of doing this a little while ago after seeing a different forum but never got to doing it.

@Forumedic you can use the selector set
Code:
.forum-stats > div
which selects the stat containers. Give the ruleset below a try :
Code:
.forum-stats > div {
  background:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05);
  border:1px solid rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.1);
  border-radius:3px;
  width:45%;
  margin:0 3px;
}

It'll automatically add a dark container around the stats, based on the background color of the row.

Try reducing the width percentage until they're side-by-side. Wink

Thanks! Now how would it be possible to make sure they are always centered on each forum vertically, just like the new post FontAwesome icon stays in middle but the background can expand.

Set a fixed height for the boxes ( e.g. 33px ), then :

1. Set their position to absolute
2. top position to 50%
3. and margin to a negative value that's HALF of their height. e.g. 33 / 2 = 16.5, sometimes you need to modify this just a bit.

Here's the CSS :
Code:
.forum-stats > div {
  height:33px;
  width:100px;
  position:absolute;
  top:50%;
  margin-top:-18px;
}

.forum-stats > div:last-child {
  margin-left:110px;
}
