[FIXED] Scroll able award list on profile makes tooltip buggy
Page 1 of 1 • Share
The tooltips might get cut off for now, and there'll be a small gap at the end of the awards so the last tooltip doesn't get cut off. Had to hide the overflow since there was starting to be a lot of awards on the profiles. Now I need to work on a small plugin for the post profiles... later.

For me it works fine without any lag, but the hover text is cut off [except its meant to be like that] unless i scroll further to see what it says.
I changed the hover text a bit, and reorganized the awards so the most recent appear first. Oh and added a link to see all awards for that user too. There's still a bit more work to do, but we're almost there.

@Ange Tuteur Nice
@Wilson That's great idea

It's a lot of technical work, but I'll consider it.
Anyway, I switched out the scroll bar for some buttons instead, since the scroll bar will cut off the tooltips. Hover over the post profile awards and they show up, clicking them will allow you to scroll through the awards. Let me know if everything works okay.

Flawless as always
haha great !
I made a few final tweaks so it should be near perfect.. That should be the last update to the award fields for now. About time I got back to working on the new theme. Sometimes I get tunnel vision.

Wonderful~ One suggestion, it will be great if the scroll bar has infinite scroll feature. You know when you went to each end of the scroll bar, the list will continue going on...
Though it's all good as it is now.

I like that idea, but I think it would prevent you from knowing when you've reached the end of the list.Wilson wrote:Wonderful~ One suggestion, it will be great if the scroll bar has infinite scroll feature. You know when you went to each end of the scroll bar, the list will continue going on...

Yes ! I removed the CSS tooltips because they were problematic, however I added the tooltips back using another method. If they're still not working let me know.SLGray wrote:Have you removed the tooltips from the awards? When I place my cursor over one, no tooltip appears.

At first they were a bit laggy (could be my internet?) but they are good now. I love this new method more whatsoever

It may be, or it could be Forumotion because it was running slow for me yesterday as well. Not sure.. Yes, it should be better since it's not hindered by overflows and what not.Ruzmarin wrote:At first they were a bit laggy (could be my internet?) but they are good now. Oooh yeah that could work ! I'll write that down in my notes so I don't forget.Wilson wrote:Thanks! Some margin maybe?
