Go to the group page to edit the group and remove auto-subscribe. After that allow the group moderation of your forum. If you did it the other way around, remove the moderation rights and turn on auto-subscribe.

Auto-subscribe for the database group is utilized to add a large amount of members to the group. After everyone is added, it can be disable. The management tips at the bottom of the installation topic should explain. Wink

That's made mostly because you can in acp disallow ads for admins and mods. So that way you will not need to pay for removing ads for users...
