I've been trying to find what causes that space for a while, unsuccesfully though. Anyone has an idea?

Hmm.. to be honest, I have no idea what's causing that space and have never even questioned it until now. I thought I added some padding or margin there... but NOPE. Shocked

You can use a negative margin to make it go away though.
#page-body { margin-top:-30px; }
