Hi,
This should be a simple fix. Go to Admin Panel > Modules > JS Codes management and edit the TOPICS.JS file. Change the placement of this file to "in all the pages" and save. This way it should affect the PMs. As far as I know there shouldn't be any side effects from doing this, but if there's anything out of the ordinary just let me know.

What's the CSS you're using for the background ? It'll most likely need to be tweaked for the PMs.
